Different Perceptions (It is my fantasy WIP. The title is not official at all.)
It is a rustic room. In a ranch style house. It has a low ceiling, but it is a very long room. Wooden planks make up the walls. There is a chimney made up of rough hewn stones. A fire burns brightly inside of it, but a howling wind blows threw, almost taking it out. A long bow, a hunting bow, is leaning against the wall in a corner. There is the smell of venison hanging in the air.
This Ensuing Torment
It is a cold, dark room made all of concrete. There are not many windows, but the few windows were broken long ago. Strips of cloth are set to hang in place of the broken windows. Inside there lies a hospital bed shoved into a corner, but straps lay attached to the bed. On a small table sit all sorts of medical tools and torture devices. Old blood is splattered on the walls. In a corner, a sniper rifle lies hidden in a dark corner, almost unnoticeable.
It is a stately room, one that speaks of its wealthy inhabitants. Black and white marble are inlaid in the floor. The high ceilings are held up by columns covered with intrinsic designs at the top. Beautiful artistic paintings line the walls. One shows two men, each beside a gaping black hole of nothingness. But something is coming out of that nothingness. Something with claws. Others display battles. And still more are paintings of unimaginable creatures: dragons.
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
This room is lit up with white light, almost blinding, but they flicker on and off. Metal paneling makes up the walls, the ceiling, and the floor. One side of the room in lined with computer screens and keyboards on a metal shelf that juts out from the wall. On the opposite wall is glass, glass that looks out into the emptiness of space. Empty, but so full at the same time. The stars shine bright. Cables run all along the walls and ceilings in a mix and jumble. Some have been cut.
Well that was pretty fun! If you didn’t get tagged and you want to do this, go ahead! The more, the merrier!
