Black Friday Book Sale!

This year has been the best year that I’ve had so far in my life, as far as reading goes. Yesterday was Thanksgiving. Happy Late Thanksgiving everyone! Like most other bookworms, great books make their way onto my “things I’m thankful for” list every year. It’s so very hard to choose favorites, but I went ahead and picked five books (or series) that I read in 2015. I recommend these books to all of you.

  1. The Ilyon Chronicles (Half Blood, Resistance, and The King’s Scrolls), by Jaye L. Knight

This is the first series that I have really fangirled over! I know that this is three books, for now (more are coming). But it was too hard to choose just one of these. They are amazing Christian Fiction. Such a fantastic world. Absolutely incredible characters with a wonderful story line.

2. The Blades of Acktar (Dare and Deny), by Tricia Mingerink

These books have Christianity spread throughout it without sounding preachy. I love these so much! I fangirl over them too. They have such great characters. There is such a good message in these books. I can’t wait to read the rest once they come out.

3. The Leviathan Trilogy (Leviathan, Behemoth, and Goliath), by Scott Westerfeld

One of my friends on Goodreads read this trilogy and rated it very high. So it caught my eye. I had the opportunity to read them and boy was she right. It was so good! I’ve never read steampunk before this and now I want more of it!

4. Blood of Kings (By Darkness Hid, To Darkness Fled, and From Darkness Won), by Jill Williamson

The light versus dark (good versus evil) was a prominent theme in this trilogy. They were so good. I hope to read more by this author. They were so exciting!

5. Water Princess, Fire Prince, by Kendra E. Ardnek

This was my first beta read. I really really enjoyed it! The romance was perfect and not inappropriate at all. It was awesome and so sweet. This is the first of a series and I can’t wait to read more.

I am hoping for another year of incredible reading (maybe even better than this year). Speaking of more reading, here’s another thing to be grateful for. Books on sale!
